Continuing the job in “El Empleo Iguala” |
On Tuesday April 28, the technical staff of the partner organisations have met to coordinate the project at the Madrid headquarters of the Women Opañel Association. We have been following the actions to support social and labor insertion of vulnerable women, and the implementation and validation of a methodological proposal.
Beside having launched the design of social and labor projects with the service users, we are developing individual and group actions to improve their personal and professional skills, incorporating methodological keys that support our work in employment guidance.
In relation to the document of conclusions and recommendations to promote the labor insertion of women belonging to vulnerable groups, we reviewed the elaborate part, assigned the writing of the pending content and set new deadlines.
Finally, we have confirmed the date of the public meeting of the end of the project for the morning of Thursday June 11 at the headquarters of the Council of Women in Madrid. It is an act aimed at entities and professionals experts in policies and programs of labor integration, especially targeting women belonging to vulnerable groups, goal of the project, which will present the outcome of the exchange, meditation and construction of a methodological proposal to ease their employability, as well as the final results.
Moving to equalise through employment |
Last February 25th the three organisations that form part of the project have had a work meeting at the headquarters of the Women Opañel Association in Madrid.
Once being justified technically and economically the first phase of the project, the objective of the meeting has focused on promoting the development of intermediate scheduling performances. We have worked on the structure of the document of key s and recommendations on which the methodology of labor integration for improving the employability of women will be collected. In addition, we have agreed records and tools, distributed responsibilities and agreed deadlines for closing the subsequent steps. As on previous occasions the development of the meeting was relaxed, with shared key ideas, a broad consensus and high efficiency. We face this stage with enthusiasm and commitment, with the conviction that binds us that equality between women and men, in this case in employment is a sine qua non for achieving social justice.
